3 – Pinconfiguration Block

We have now explained how to initialize and assign a pin in the Panther Language tutorial. If you have not yet seen it, you may click on the link in menu on the right.

The next step is pin configuration. You must specify the means of data transmission.

Proper data transmission indication should be:

<pin-variable-name> = OUTPUT // If your means of transmission is INPUT, you specify that by writing INPUT instead of OUTPUT

Left side of equal sign should be pin variable name and right side of equal sign should be either “OUTPUT” or “INPUT”.

When you finish data transmission, you have to enclose your data transmission assignments with Pinconfiguration functions. A proper configuration function should look like this:

void Pinconfiguration ()
{
// All initialized and assigned pins should be decided in here about data transmission way
<pin-variable-name> = OUTPUT // If your transmission way is INPUT, you specify that by writing INPUT instead of OUTPUT
}
